Recycling

Denver Mac Repair is dedicated to promoting environmental responsibility by offering safe, secure, and eco-friendly electronics recycling services. For a small fee, we accept a variety of Apple and other electronic devices, ensuring that each item is processed in a way that minimizes environmental impact. Their recycling program is made possible through a trusted partnership with an R2 Stewardship certified recycler — a designation that guarantees adherence to the highest standards in responsible recycling practices. This ensures that materials are diverted from landfills and handled in a way that protects both people and the planet.

Security is also a top priority at Denver Mac Repair. We understand that many electronic devices may still contain sensitive personal or business data. That’s why we emphasize secure data destruction as part of their recycling process. Customers can rest assured that any data left on their devices will be properly and permanently erased before the hardware is dismantled or repurposed. This commitment to privacy and security gives customers peace of mind while also helping them do their part in reducing electronic waste.

While Denver Mac Repair strives to accept as many device types as possible, there are some limitations due to the size of their facility. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept CRT monitors, tube televisions, and other large or bulky items, including oversized computer systems or industrial electronics. These space constraints ensure the shop can continue to operate efficiently while still offering convenient recycling for commonly used personal and office electronics. Customers are encouraged to contact the shop ahead of time if they’re unsure whether a particular item can be accepted.

Through this program, Denver Mac Repair not only supports sustainability but also provides the Boulder-Denver community with a responsible and secure way to dispose of outdated tech.
